3DS is a product made of ceramics with a very large surface, porous structure and neutral pH, thanks to which it promotes the development of beneficial microorganisms, such as nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria.
Thanks to the accumulation of beneficial bacteria, peak levels of ammonia, nitrite and nitrate are reduced. Water in your tank remains crystal clear! Analysis of the surface with the use the BET method determined the effective area in the range of 2,850 m2 / liter – it far surpassed other biological media available on the market. The innovative three-dimensional structure of the open and connected pores ensures low resistance to water flow and extends the water retention time.

Thanks to the porous structure, BIO RINGS is an ideal place for the development of bacterial flora. The size and cylindrical shape with an internal bore provide a large surface area for the growth of beneficial bacteria.
BIO RINGS are very good at decomposing ammonia and nitrite. They improve the conditions in your tank. The product can be used in freshwater and saltwater aquariums, as well as in ponds and water holes. BIO RINGS effectively catch compounds that are a breeding ground for bacteria from the water. Thanks to this, they purify the water of medium and large solid impurities.

BIO ECO BASE is perfect for biological filtration. The high porosity of the ceramics provides a very large filter surface for the growth of beneficial bacteria. These bacteria remove ammonia and nitrate from the water. BIO ECO BASE is also characterized by high efficiency in the process of nitrite reduction.
BIO ECO BASE can be used in freshwater and saltwater aquariums, as well as in water holes. Additionally, the ceramic insert does not require frequent cleaning and it is reusable.
